This is an original 1966 Greek 50 Lepta coin featuring the portrait of King Constantine II, the last King of Greece. The inscription around the portrait reads “King Constantine of the Hellenes” in Greek. The coin was minted during the Kingdom of Greece period in the 1960s, shortly before the monarchy was abolished in 1973. It is made from cupronickel and represents an interesting historical piece from modern Greek history. These coins are collected by numismatists, history enthusiasts, and vintage collectors. It makes a great addition to any coin collection, historical memorabilia set, or vintage display. A small but meaningful collectible from the mid-20th century European royal era
